The Arabic menus have been reviewed and updated, with with new words added. Many corrections have been made. The menus in Retail-Man can be converted into Arabic by downloading using the link below. Windows 8, 7, XP or Vista is recommended, with support for Arabic.

http://www.ezisolution.co.uk/Lang/Arabic.zip

1) Change the language settings in the Control Panel > Regional and Languages screen to be Arabic for the required country, e.g. Arabic (Jordan).

2) Install the extended Language support to be able to display the right to left languages such as Arabic.

3) Download the Arabic.zip file

4) Extract the Arabic.lng and Arabic.CDX files from Arabic.zip, copy them into the folder for Retail-Man (e.g. C:\RMAN)

You can easily switch between menus between English and Arabic. As yet we have no on-line help in Arabic. Subject to demand, this will be prepared.

Download the User Manual in Arabic from the link below. Prepared by Alkehebra IT Services in Libya.

English to Arabic
-------------------
5) Start Retail-Man in the normal way
6) Maintenance -> User Settings -> Master User -> Settings
7) Change the Language File from English (Default) to Arabic using the pull-down menu.
8) Click on Save (F2).
9) Click on Close (Esc).

The menus should now be in Arabic. If not, exit from Retail-Man, then re-start the program.

Arabic to English is similar to above, selecting the English language.

We will be interested to receive feedback on the use of the menus in Arabic.

Good Effort and many thanks for that but looking at the POS screen specially to these two buttons (Recall/hold and Pay) i don't think they have the right translation, in fact they are far away from the right meaning.
thanks

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback on this. We will review the Arabic headings over the next few weeks. If you can point out any errors or issues, please send me an E-Mail with the details. Probably best to put any Arabic in a Word document along with the English text.
