Refund to customer shows a loss

I may be missing something here but please try to explain the refund system as I cant work it out.

I have a retail store that i have used Retailman now for sometime. Now have found a flaw and hope there is a simple fix.

I sell an item to a customer costing £5 and selling at £10 and if this was the only sale of the day my staff sales report would show sales £10 profit £5. However lets assume the customer then returns the said item 5 minutes later and requests a £10 refund which I would normally do by entering a negative quantity.

If I now check my staff report it will show me transaction 1 profit £5 but transaction 2 (the refund ) will show as profit -£10 giveing me a grand total of £5 loss for the day when surely it should read profit £0

I do believe its a bug in the older versions but was fixed in the latest version 1.81.74 which you can download from www.ezisolution.com/rm_1_817.exe

Thanks for the prompt reply Sami but unfortunately on this version i still get the same result. I have downloaded to a new folder and created a product at £10 with cost £5 sold 1 through epos then refunded at -1 at £10. The sales report show sales £0 cost £5 profit -£5 :(

how about the qty? is it zero?
