Pole Display

Hi,

I have been succesfully using RMan after a bit of customizations to meet my needs. I seem to have a small issue with the pole disaply though. I have a 2x20 characters pole display. I donno if its a problem with it or thats how its supposed to run.

After a succesful POS transaction the Pole display still retains the Amount paid and the change etc. I will have to close the POS screen to reset the display to the welcome message. I wish it to stay there for may be 10 seconds and then reset to the welcome message or "next customer" etc. I tried to go through many options but couldnt find any options for the same.

Hi Riaz,

The design of the program is as you have described, to clear just press Enter after the sale and it will clear it.

Sami,

i tried the enter key but it still stays with the last txn on the display. Its kinda not good as i dont want people to see how much my last customer paid me and plus a welcome message is more pleasing

no problem, we will add a message display to the pos and remove the last paid amount after few seconds

Just wanted to check if you have added the update for the Pole Display to display the welcome message after a few seconds after the last transaction.

We have added a customer monitor support to allow you to use an LCD monitor instead of a pole display.
But you will need to have your computer support 2 monitors and setup Windows to use both monitors.
